    • Fruity scents like cucumber melon, pomegranate, and orange generally provide an instant boost of energy. Cleaner scents, such as winter rain, linen, or light floral scents often give you an aura of serenity.
    • Check with your employer before bringing in any scented products. Some employers are very adamant about weeding all scented products out of the office environment because it may distract some employees. This includes perfume, aftershave, and even scented candles.

If your workplace is far too chaotic to overcome an honest attempt to refresh your mind and focus on your work, it may be best to approach  your employer. You may be surprised to find a sympathetic ear from someone who also finds your workplace chaotic and stressful.
